Things that I struggle with on a daily basis- the perfect light source in studio. I am pretty bad at getting my studio lighting consistent. I would love for someone to say- here lay it out like this and this is everything you need. I am looking to buy a better lighting system- just need help.

So.. all you experts... HELP lol.

Tammy,

Let me start with this, what types of lights are you using right now? Studio flash units, like monolights such as an Alien Bee? Is it portable flash units, like what you might attach to the top of your DSLR camera in the hot shoe? Is it fluorescent or tungsten or quartz, etc.?

Are you using umbrellas? Soft boxes? (If so, what sizes?) Reflectors?

The more I know about what you currently have, the better I can get you on the right path TODAY. If you don't have all this stuff, you can work on purchasing new things as you can.
