PRENATAL, NEWBORN & HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR MAILING LISTS!
My baby plan marketing kit and senior info kits have been selling to studios worldwide for the past few years and all the kit owners have wanted to know where to get mailing lists. So, I finally looked into it and now offer it as a service to anyone. It is not a profitable venture for me, but rather a service I just felt I needed to offer. Last month, out of several thousand dollars of sales of mailing lists, my net profit ended up being about $50 and I had more than 10 hours of time involved. lol.

Ordering your mailing lists is actually fairly simple. I just need you to either provide me with all the zip codes that you want to market to, or provide me with your central zip code and the radius in miles that you wish to market to and I'll take it from there.
You can also ask for a minimum income qualifier. You can choose from no min. income qualifier, $40,000 min. income, or $60,000 min. income. This means that the household income should be at least at those levels. I personally recommend $40,000 min. income, however it limits the number of names that you'll receive, and there are certainly people with less than $40,000 a year income that will gladly invest in photography because it is a valued priority to them. In addition, if the person happens to make $37, 38, 39,000 income, they are likely to be left off of the $40K list. If you go with no income qualifier, you'll just want to "screen" your callers a little bit perhaps to make sure that they are serious about investing money with you and not thinking that they can get a huge package for $9.99. ;)
After I know what zips you want to use, I submit them to get "counts" of how many names are available in each zip code. I then email that information to you to get your approval and payment. As the names are updated every day, the exact count may vary a little bit from when we run the counts and when we actually purchase the list, so your payment is a (close) estimate and after the purchase, I could owe you a slight refund, or you may owe a slight bit more, depending on whether there were a few more or less names.
The names are then emailed to you in an excel format, easily printed out on labels or sent to your printer to have them printed on your professionally printed pieces.
There is NO cost for me to run the counts for you. If I run the counts and you decide that you don't want them, you are not charged anything.
NEWBORN names are $10 a month base fee, plus 42 cents per name and address.
PRENATAL names are $10 a month base fee, plus 48 cents per name and address.
HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR names are $10 base fee, plus 39 cents per name and address for one time usage or 54 cents per name for unlimited usage for one year.
A copy of your mailing piece must be submitted to the broker before they will allow purchase of names, so you'll need to send an email to me at adam@infinitiphotography.com containing your mailing piece in pdf or jpg form. They ask for this to be sure that you're a valid business and to check your wording on newborn pieces. They don't like for you to word your newborn pieces to come across that you KNOW that they have a newborn, but rather "IF you've just had a newborn...".
Mailing lists for newborns are usually pretty accurate, but high school senior lists have always been known to have some inaccuracies due to the fact that all the mailing list brokers make a educated GUESS if a person is a senior based on their age. So, no guarantees are made for the accuracies of lists, but I can tell you that a slightly inaccurate list is FAR better than no list at all, because to be successful in this business, we must MARKET MARKET MARKET! Direct mail is an incredible way to build your business and FAST.
